Orchestra!

There are many studies regarding the importance of exposing kids to classical music. I truly believe on the importance of helping our little ones to appreciate really good music (hard to find nowadays).

We are using Greatest Composers to learn about different composers and the initial lessons are an introduction to Orchestra.

We also used the following books: Those Amazing Musical Instruments  and The Story of the Orchestra. The first book has a CD-ROM that helps us to identify the sound of each musical instrument ans the second book has a CD with musics to help build appreciation for the classical music.

Here we have V working on identifying the instruments and its sections in the Orchestra:

Brass Section Instruments

Strings Section Instruments

Woodwind Section Instruments
It took us 3 weeks to cover all the instruments, but worthy!

Have a great day!
