Math Tests!

By the end of the school year Little V was already into lesson 7 of the Alpha Level of her Math U See Curriculum. We simply love this math curriculum and for the Alpha level on the kids receive a test at the end of each lesson. So far she has done pretty well!

The tests come in a separate book so the child doesn't have access to them until it's time for it.

I personally take them very seriously, as it is a way for me to see where I need to improve as a teacher, rather than looking for scores to see how much she retained. I do grade the test just for the fun of it and because we do all the activities pages including the systematic review and application & enrichment activities she feels very confident by the end of each lesson.

Do you grade your child's activity? How do you feel about tests? We would love to hear from you!

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!
